Account Executive - Enterprise (Information Technology)

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving SageNet's growth by generating high-quality leads, cultivating strong client relationships, and securing new business opportunities. Your efforts will help position SageNet as a trusted and valued service provider in the market.
Major duties and responsibilities:
  • Develops new business by analyzing account potential, both current customer and new prospects; initiating, developing, and closing sales.
  • Identifies potential in accounts by studying current business; interviewing key customer personnel and company personnel who have worked with customer; identifying and evaluating additional needs; analyzing opportunities.
  • Initiates sales process by building relationships; qualifying potential; scheduling appointments.
  • Develops sales by making initial presentation; explaining product and service enhancements and additions; introducing new products and services.
  • Acting as the client's representative in a firm to ensure that their demands are met with a focus on improving the customer experience
  • Collecting and analyzing data concerning consumer behavior to understand changing needs
  • Contributes information to sales strategies by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled; monitoring competitive products; analyzing and relaying customer reactions.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
WHO YOU ARE
To perform this role successfully, the Account Executive must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, education, and overall experience required for the role.  
Experience & Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with a concentration in business administration, engineering or technology 
  • Industry experience a plus – technology and hardware sales preferred 
  • 1-3+ years sales experience exceeding quotas
  • Stable employment history
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Able to explain basic technical topics in simple terms, and think quickly and react to client questions  
  • Self-motivated personality, with the ability to handle multiple tasks with limited direction  
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)   
  • Must be adaptable, professional, courteous, motivated and work well on their own or as a member of a team  
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Be able to sit for extended periods of time without any problems 
  • Consistent use of hands and fingers for typing 
  • Consistent use of eyes to analyze monitoring applications, spreadsheets, ticketing systems and web on computer screen
