Wastewater & Paint System Technician
The Midwest Operations of ALTEC Industries, Inc. has an opening for a Wastewater & Paint System Technician for the Generation 2 Paint Line System. This position will be for the 3rd shift.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Water Treatment Experience Preferred
- Knowledge of background in chemistry preferred
- Experience with powder coating systems preferred
- Forklift certified or ability to obtain
- Hazwoper certified or ability to obtain
- Wastewater certified or ability to obtain
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (including Excel)
- Occasional Shift fluctuations may be required due to special projects
Responsibilities:
- System & Chemical Maintenance: monitor system and adjust tanks and parameters as needed
- Water & Safety Compliance: handle hazardous waste and chemicals appropriately, follow all safety and 5S standards
- Equipment & Process Support: maintain pre-treatment and system application equipment, troubleshoot and repair spray systems
- Documentation & Communication: log system data, communicate with engineering, and suppliers
- Flexibility & Development: support overtime, travel for training as needed, participate in ongoing process improvement
