Position Overview: The Dairy Coordinator is a critical point-person within Horseshoe Beverage, responsible for the coordination and optimization of all dairy tanker operations. This role ensures efficient planning, unloading, and compliance of all incoming dairy materials while maintaining close alignment with internal departments and external partners such as MMPA. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with the dairy receiving process, strong planning and communication skills, and the ability to manage regulatory and operational needs with precision.


Responsibilities:
· Partner with Supply Chain and Purchasing, manage the scheduling and receiving of all dairy tankers to ensure efficient flow of raw materials into the facility. Act as the primary point of contact for tanker arrivals and departures.
· Plan and optimize dairy holding vessel capacity to align with production schedules and minimize downtime or waste.
· Oversee and actively participate in the unloading of dairy tankers, including operation of HMI systems to route product to appropriate holding vessels.
· Partner with Sanitation Manager to develop and manage an optimized Clean-in-Place (CIP) schedule to ensure sanitary conditions, minimize downtime, and maximize efficiency.
· Work with Quality to ensure all regulatory and company compliance standards are met for dairy receiving, handling, and documentation. Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections.
· Serve as the key incident coordinator for any dairy-related issues. Communicate directly with dairy suppliers and internal stakeholders in Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Operations to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
· Track and reconcile dairy consumption to ensure accurate reporting and efficient use of raw materials.
· Act as the primary liaison with truck drivers and third-party logistics partners. Ensure smooth and professional interactions at the point of delivery.
· Collaborate daily with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Purchasing teams. Serve as a lead contributor in dairy planning meetings, offering insights on logistics, capacity, and improvements.

Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED required; minimum Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred in: Supply Chain, Operations, Food Science, or related field preferred.
· 2+ years of experience in dairy processing or food/beverage manufacturing required.
· Strong knowledge of dairy unloading and dairy transfer operations, HMI systems, and CIP processes.
· Understanding of regulatory compliance related to dairy handling and food safety (e.g., PMO, FDA).
· Excellent organizational and communication skills.
· Ability to troubleshoot and make real-time decisions in a fast-paced production environment.
· Strong interpersonal skills, especially in dealing with truck drivers and cross-functional teams.
· Experience working with dairy cooperative organizations is a plus.


Hours, Location and Pay:
We offer a competitive-based pay rate and comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. This role works Monday-Friday, 8-5pm, Neenah, WI manufacturing facility.

Physical and Mental Demands:
· Physical presence on the production floor required.
· Occasional off-shift or weekend coordination based on delivery schedules.
· Exposure to dairy, cleaning chemicals, and refrigerated environments.
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
· Specific vision abilities required in this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
· Mental demands include multi-tasking, decision making, problem solving, comparing, copying, computing, compiling, analyzing, coordinating, and synthesizing data.
