Sr Program Specialist (Finance)



As a Senior Program Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing programs that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for coordinating program activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and driving program performance.

You will report directly to our Sr. Program Supervisor, and you'll work out of our College Park, MD location onsite Monday-Friday.

In this role, you will impact the organization by ensuring the successful execution of programs, which will contribute to the overall effectiveness and competitiveness of Honeywell's Building Automation sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and coordinate program activities to ensure successful execution.
  • Monitor program performance metrics and report on progress.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align program objectives with business goals.
  • Manage proposals, subcontractors, and ensure team is aligned to contractual requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management or related roles.
  • General BAS, large campus mechanical systems, and construction knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of program management principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, enabling effective planning and execution of programs.
  • Experience in managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Experience in a global organization with a focus on program management.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • PMP is a plus
  • Procurement experience working with vendors and subcontractors
