Photography Studio Assistant (Creative Design)



The Photography Studio Assistant - Part Time role is responsible for assisting the in-house studio photographer with studio workflow. This role is a member of the photo studio team and works with a variety of products to organize, prep and prop them before photographing as well as final image upload to servers.

 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Organize and schedule product photo shoots and due dates

     

    Assist with lighting set-up and breakdown

     

    Assist with preparing product prior to photoshoot

     

    Assist with product set-up and breakdown

     

    Prepare all lifestyle models

     

    Setup product props as required or needed

     

    Clean and/or iron products prior to photo shoot

     

    Assemble products as needed

     

    Assist in maintaining and organizing the product image library

     

    Assist with final image upload to online servers

     

    Assist with maintaining photography and photo studio equipment

     

    Potential to occasionally photograph product, depending upon studio photography experience

    Education and Experience Requirements

    High School diploma or equivalent is required

     

    One or more years of photography knowledge with the use of a Nikon digital camera, Capture One and studio lighting is preferred

     

    Knowledge of photography or product photography experience is preferred

     

    Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop in an Apple/Mac environment is preferred

     

    Basic proficiency in Google platform (i.e., Sites, Slides, Drive, Docs, Sheets)
