People are the heart of our company, and our doors are open to everyone. As a customer, as an employee – we are committed to creating an inspiring culture that is welcoming, safe and inclusive for all. Our strength in work and life comes from the combination of our experiences, backgrounds and talents. It's what we do as people that makes Lands' End a great place to shop and a great place to work.
As the User Experience Design Senior Manager at Lands' End, you will be a hands-on design expert, playing a vital role in shaping and executing the strategic vision for UI/UX, visual design, prototyping, and technical implementation across our B2C and B2B businesses. Operating within a "player-coach" model, you will not only provide visionary leadership but actively contribute to design tasks, working alongside your team to craft exceptional consumer experiences.
Our brand is positioned both in the direct-to-consumer business and third-party marketplaces, making this role integral in ensuring a seamless and inspiring journey for our customers across various touchpoints. Leading a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for crafting best-in-class consumer experiences, aligning with our brand refresh goals, and ensuring a premium online presence in any channels Lands' End resides in. You will work closely with brand and digital marketing teams, digital merchandising, engineering, product management, and company leaders to successfully go from early-stage concepts to launch. In this role, you will manage and mentor design team members, fostering collaboration and enthusiasm for creating engaging user experiences that resonate across the organization.
The ideal candidate for this role is a hands-on manager who is adept at guiding design projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet business requirements and exceed customer expectations. You should be willing to dive into design work alongside your team, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality, user-centric solutions. The ability to be responsive, flexible, and thrive in an open and collaborative environment is crucial. Experience in recruiting and mentoring team members, along with a knack for managing a varied workload effectively, is important. A strong background in hands-on design work, coupled with the ability to manage a team and influence outcomes, will set the successful candidate apart.
