Solution Engineer - Business Intelligence (Finance)



This position will work on a team of business intelligence developers to create Enterprise Level information products and applications. The position will provide technical leadership with a focus on infrastructure setup and backend development.

Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) every week.

This role reports to our office in Alpharetta, Georgia.

This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support.

This is a direct-hire role and is not open to C2C or vendors.

What you'll do

  • Build robust data pipelines to facilitate custom visualizations and applications.
  • Lead the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of internally facing cloud applications.
  • Create proof of concept applications, leveraging AI to solve business problems.
  • Ensure solutions are compliant with security controls and technical standards.
  • Demonstrate technical leadership to other team members and play an active role in their learning journeys.

What experience you need
  • 5-7 years of overall experience as a Data Practitioner or BI Developer.
  • 3+ years experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker (LookML).
  • 3+ years experience with Python or node.js.
  • Prior experience building CI/CD pipelines.
  • 3+ years experience with GCP tools such as Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, Dataflow, BigQuery.
  • 2+ years experience working with production environments.

  • Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer or Google Cloud Professional Developer certification or similar.

  • Experience with Angular, React, or similar.
  • LookML experience.
