Management Analyst (Finance)



Description

  • Serves as a Management Analyst in a Project Office.
  • Performs all actions required to manage and monitor the Project Office's manpower authorizations for military and civilian strength required, authorized, and assigned.
  • Prepares the submission for the Military Acquisition Position List (MAPL) preparation for submission.
  • Conducts management studies, responds to external information requirements, prepares management reports, resolves discrepancies and problems.
  • Provides advice and assistance for manpower management functions.
  • Analyzes personnel requirements to ensure staffing levels are within Table Distribution Allowances (TDA) and develops changes to TDA based on manpower and mission changes.
  • Prepares update of TDA to PEO, Missiles and Space and establishes audit control to ensure approval and implementation of proposed changes.
  • Assists with reorganizations, realignments, and other manpower actions.
  • Consults and coordinates with senior analysts and management personnel, and makes recommendations designed to achieve an increase in effectiveness, efficiency, and economy of operations with the revised mission and available manpower.
  • Prepares input to the manpower portion of the POM.
  • Serves as back-up for actions for military assigned to the Project Office, to include assisting with requisition replacements, ensuring evaluations are scheduled, notifying rating officials, and monitoring status of military actions. Assist with all in and out processing of personnel.
  • Be able to serve as the Training Coordinator for the Core Civilians and Military assigned to the Program Office.
  • Competence in monitoring and updating the mandatory training in the Total Employee Development (TED) system.
  • Be able to serve as the Program Office Organization Acquisition Point of Contact (OAP).
  • Be able to track and monitor the acquisition workforce certification level requirements and assist with questions as needed.
  • Be able to coordinate and track the Supervisor Rater Potential Evaluation (SRPE) process for all acquisition workforce and help as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or relevant area
  • 5 Years of human resources experience supporting an Army Program Office
  • Experience preparing briefings and reports
