Machinist (Manufacturing)

We are looking for a skilled Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines, lathes, grinders, and other precision tools to manufacture and repair machine components in accordance with customer specifications and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high degree of precision, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. You should be comfortable troubleshooting equipment, maintaining quality control standards, and collaborating with maintenance and production teams to support efficient operations. A strong commitment to safety and adherence to company policies is essential.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Perform fabrication and machine shop projects/jobs to ensure parts are made correctly in a timely manner. Assist in monitoring machine shop operations to meet productivity goals.Adhere to budget guidelines for department spending.Administer employee policies, practices, procedures, and work rules appropriate for the unit. Maintain compliance with safety, health, and environmental practices in accordance with company, federal, and state standards.Support continuous improvement efforts within the machine shop.Commit to a safe work environment by following all workplace safety rules and procedures and proactively identifying and resolving safety hazards and by adhering to SSHE policies, procedures and programs.
