Role description:

As a Management Consultant in our Nashville, TN office you will assist engineers, scientists, and project managers with tasks that support ongoing transportation infrastructure project work. As part of our Project Management team, you will work with internal and external project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects related to asset management, infrastructure maintenance, and disaster recovery.

This role sits within our Mobility Asset Management group. We partner with our clients across the globe to maximize the value, sustainability, and resilience of built or natural asset over their whole life, through strategic advisory, integrated delivery, and innovative digital solutions.

This is a hybrid role with a minimum expectation of 3 days in office per week.

Role accountabilities:

As a management consultant, you will act as a primary resource on projects, driving delivery and fostering stakeholder consensus by coordinating efforts across a diverse project team, including engineers, scientists, data analysts, and project managers. In this role, you will demonstrate highly organized time management skills, ensuring project timelines are closely monitored and deadlines consistently met.

You will also be responsible for collecting, organizing, maintaining, and interpreting large volumes of historical data from various sources, such as maintenance management systems and project resource management tools. Leveraging data visualization and analysis software, such as Microsoft Power BI, you will analyze datasets to derive actionable insights and performance metrics, effectively communicating these findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Additionally, you will contribute to the development of best practice guides, manuals, training materials, and process improvement documentation to support workflows and tasks within transportation infrastructure projects, ensuring consistent and efficient project execution. Experience working with broad stakeholder groups, aligning project goals, deriving data-driven insights, and developing trust across project teams is preferred.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, GIS, data analytics, or related STEM field
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience or advanced degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications
  • Transportation and/or maintenance industry experience
  • Proficiency in data visualization software, such as Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Experience with the ESRI suite of applications
  • Experience with the Federal Highway Administration's Emergency Relief Program
  • Experience with environmental permitting procedures
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $49,390 - $79,023. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
