Communications Product Specialist, Jr (Sales)
Sierra7, Inc. is seeking a Junior Communications Product Specialist to support the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) - Office of Finance (OF). The Office of Finance is the steward of VHA financial resources for Veterans who receive healthcare. Continuous improvement is achieved through the full cycle of healthcare budget and accounting activities within a large financial community and external partnerships. The Junior Communications Product Specialist may handle public relations, information output, press releases and media requests, social media and/or advertising for a wide variety of organizations.
Position Responsibilities:
Proactive collaboration, communication, and interfacing with project stakeholders, including end users, business, VA organizations, vendors, and service partners.
Engage stakeholders across disciplines towards a goal of end-to-end line of sight across design, budgeting, and implementation.
Develop communications and training materials supporting newly architected and developed solutions.
Devise solutions to predicted problems, evaluating other options.
Engage with the team to build a world-class community of practice to support customers and for continuous improvement by enhancing the knowledge base of standards, innovation, evolving risks, and best practices.
Support various product line teams.
Support gap analysis reviews to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and priorities in product development.
Deliver project requirements on time, within budget, with quality results that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Develop detailed schedules, estimates, and resource plans to implement solutions.
Produce and deliver detailed status reports and briefings, along with periodic demonstrations of developed capability.
Document and demonstrate project progress.
Proactively manage action items, issues, and risks to ensure project success.
Follow change control procedures effectively.
Coordinate development and reviews of high-quality project deliverables ensuring compliance with epics and stories.
Performs other duties as assigned.
