Job Description
Primary Function of Position (Brief statement (3-5 sentences) describing the reporting structure, main responsibility(s) and key function(s) which will contribute to the overall success of the individual in this job)

This role will manage and maintain technology that supports the Real Estate and Workplace Services organization. Implement technologies to improve employee interaction with our physical spaces, manage service levels, control costs, and ensure the reliability of building systems. This role requires extensive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements and SLAs. Strong project management experience and knowledge of current industry technology is required to define and implement new services and system enhancements.

  • Manage and maintain Facilities-Engineering technologies including integrated workplace management system (IWMS), Enterprise Operating Center (EOC), local building management systems (BMS), and energy monitoring application.
  • Leverage existing systems to establish a roadmap for Facilities technology that supports business operations.
  • Develop a policies and procedures playbook for Facilities-Engineering technologies.
  • Establish and track SLAs and KPIs which define how technologies support Facilities.
  • Works closely with Workplace Technologies to gather requirements, design and build news systems that support Facilities-Engineering business needs.
  • Refine data communication that support conclusions with dashboards and reports.
  • Manage change process when technologies change.
  • Hold vendors accountable for performance and cost goals.
  • Ensure service levels are clearly communicated, understood, and performed.
  • Support new construction design and adherence to construction playbook.
  • Together with Construction project managers, participate in the commissioning and start-up of new buildings Facilities technologies systems including IWMS and BMS.
  • Inspect new system installations and validate the status/progress of the projects.
  • Seek energy saving opportunities and sustainability initiatives by analyzing data and engaging industry expertise.
  • Analyze and control budget.
  • Travel domestically as needed (anticipated 10 - 30% travel).
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience (Specific skills, knowledge, and experience that an individual must possess in order to successfully perform in job)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the building controls and/or Facilities technology industry including commissioning, software integration operation, and calibration.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and produce valuable, actionable conclusions.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Project manager experience on controls and construction projects.
  • Highly developed interpersonal / communication skills. Writing and speaking skills through written proposals, meeting facilitation, and oral presentations are essential.
  • Experience managing contractors and vendors to established SLAs and KPIs.

  • Ability to walk construction sites and manufacturing space to assess systems.
  • Ability to safely work on a ladder.
  • Lifting of loads up to 30 pounds.

Preferred Skills and Experience (As applicable - Specific skills, knowledge, and experience that are not required to perform the job, but are desirable to have)
  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent degree) or relevant work experience.
  • Experience using Smartsheet, Tableau, Autodesk, BIM360Field and Procore.
  • Knowledge of sustainability, LEED system, LBC standards.
  • Certified in the following: CAP (Certified Automation Professional), and/or PMP (Project Management Professional).
  • Demonstrated flexible and open-minded approach to issues and innovation in stepping outside standard operating procedures to deliver the best solution to customer demands.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target salary ranges are listed.

Base Salary Range Region 1: $131.200 USD - $188.800 USD
Base Salary Range Region 2: $111.500 USD - $160.500 USD
Shift: Day
