Job Description:

   

Part of the HPE Global Communications team, the Specialist, Analyst Relations, will contribute to key industry analyst and independent analyst programs for HPE. This individual will support the Analyst Relations team, and collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and Business Group leadership, to advance HPE's business, product, innovation, and category leadership initiatives.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate an interest in the industry analyst ecosystem, a desire to learn, and willingness to consume and synthesize analyst research and reports from a variety of industry analysts. This individual should have a strong command of details and process, and a capable project manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Corporate analyst relations: Support the senior manager, Industry Analyst Relations for the Networking Business Unit, to drive engagement with lead analysts on HPE at the tier-one analyst firms, build programs to represent pan-HPE strategy and innovation agenda with analysts, manage reports and interactions with analysts focused on the overall HPE story, and support and project manage tier-one analyst events like industry analyst summits.
  • Product analyst relations: Manage key product/market segment analyst relations components, including managing analyst relationships and supporting industry analysts on research and report development. Manage product team analyst engagements, advise the team on AR strategy, and engage on key projects like Gartner Magic Quadrants.
  • Measurement: Track and leverage measurement metrics for a couple of product areas –  leverage information/insights to inform senior management, and set objectives for the analyst relations program.
  • Travel: Up to 25% travel.

  • Strong project manager: strong attention to detail, ability to manage projects on time and on budget.
  • Communications: ability to communicate compellingly and crisply, in both written and verbal communications.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Solid writing and editing skills.
    • Strong oral communication skills; ability to think on your feet.
    • Organization and program management skills.
    • Ability to link business strategy to AR plans and activities to drive business results.
    • Analytic skills (market analysis, measurement, ROI).
    • Critical Thinking
    • Strong knowledge in public relations, communications, corporate strategy, business technologies, and product marketing
    • Microsoft Suite: PowerPoint, Excel, Word required

    Education and Experience Required:

    • BA or BS in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration.
    • 5+ years of experience in PR, AR, marketing or communications.
    • Training: Successful candidate will have the opportunity to train and earn a Relations Practitioner Certification
    • Must reside in the United States

    The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered.     USD Annual Salary: $82,700.00 - $157,500.00
