Marketing Specialist (Finance)



Position Description

Position Description:
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing marketing materials and supporting business development initiatives that enhance brand awareness, lead generation and the company's position as an industry leader. The ideal candidate will have experience in and a passion for telling stories across diverse formats including blog posts, videos, social media, email, presentations, trade show materials, etc. This position will report directly to the Digital Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties:
For your creative side:

  • Support the conceptualization of compelling stories and content that enhance the brand and engage target audiences
  • Execute content such as thought leadership material and blog posts, case studies, infographics, white papers, webinars, presentations, etc. and promote assets across digital and traditional channels
  • Create and maintain marketing content calendar to maximize reach and engagement
  • Assist in marketing strategy ensuring content and company achieves maximum visibility on search engines, digital channels and traditional outlets

For your analytical side:
  • Identify and research organizations for business development outreach opportunities
  • Maintain and optimize business development data to deploy personalized and dynamic digital campaigns
  • Develop reporting and analyze results to derive insights that shape future marketing efforts

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience in content marketing, digital marketing, copywriting, journalism, or public relations
  • Creativity and strong ability to write, edit, interview and research to develop content
  • Proficiency in photography, videography and tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro
  • Literate in emerging social media platforms and technology
  • Exposure to email marketing, marketing technology and CRM software
  • Experience working effectively in teams and collaborating with others
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and complex deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint
