Senior Quality Engineer (Finance)



We're looking for a Senior Quality Engineer who will play a key role in improving our quality systems and manufacturing processes. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will serve as the backup for the Manufacturing Quality Assurance Engineer role supporting the production sectors.

What will you do in this role?
Integrated Management System (30%)

  • Maintain and improve our Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 50001).
  • Lead internal audits and support external certification processes.
  • Work with leadership to align and communicate quality policies.
  • Host customer visits and represent our quality systems.
Manufacturing Cost of Quality (50%)
  • Reduce costs related to scrap, rework, warranty, and obsolete products.
  • Lead improvement projects using Six Sigma or RED X tools.
  • Analyze data to find cost-saving opportunities.
  • Mentor and train junior quality engineers.
  • Track and report key quality metrics (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with teams to improve customer satisfaction.
Backup for Manufacturing Quality Assurance (20%)
  • Ensure daily product quality meets customer expectations.
  • Lead root cause analysis and quality improvement efforts.
  • Maintain quality control documentation and process audits.
  • Support new product development and manage product exceptions.
  • Apply and improve Process Control Plans and FMEA.

Who will you report to? Customer Satisfaction & Quality Manager.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Strong experience in quality engineering, especially in manufacturing environments.
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001).
  • Proven ability to conduct internal audits, maintain external certifications, and ensure cross-departmental adoption of quality policies.
  • Skilled in Six Sigma or RED X methodologies for reducing manufacturing costs and improving quality.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives with measurable financial impact.
  • Ability to mentor and coach junior quality engineers.
  • Strong background in Process Control Plans, FMEA, and root cause analysis tools.
  • Involvement in new product development from a quality perspective.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable stepping into backup roles and balancing proactive planning with reactive problem-solving.
