Field Service Engr II (Finance)
Key Responsibilities
• Train and certify new and existing contractors' installation crews in-house, onsite or remote training sessions on the Onity products and processes. Territory is within the US and Canada.
• Perform quality assurance inspections, provide corrective feedback, and maintain QA records for each contractor.
• Perform both remote and onsite technical support for escalated customer issues.
• Perform Lock Shop training at customer's sites for engineering and lock shop staff, as scheduled by Honeywell.
• Lead onboarding and retraining efforts for Canadian Value-Added Resellers (VARs) across all relevant Onity products.
• Hold and maintain numerous General Contractors licenses in various states in the company's name when applicable.
• Perform Property certifications for customers installing their own locks.
• Execute the VAR Onboarding process for training and certifying Vars'
• Create, develop and assist in content and distribute a monthly newsletter to contractors to impart best practices and tips, product updates, and general information.
• Serve as a Technical resource for sales and additional teams by supporting product demonstration and explaining functionality and detailing data flow.
• Will be crossed trained in both installation and front desk training.
The annual base salary range for this position is $71,200-$89,100. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. • 3+ years of experience with access controls in the commercial or hospitality industry for lock Installer of lock and access.
• Have or be able to achieve basic I.T. networking, troubleshooting skills for Front Desk Training.
• Computer related experience and working knowledge of Window 10, 11.
• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Capable of working in a demanding environment with aggressive timeframes, and organizing conflicting time, and customer demands.
WE VALUE
• 6 + months in use of hands-on experience, specifically access control systems, installation, tools, door mortising, installation problem solving and support.
• Good computer skills with standard business applications. Competent PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT and Outlook
• Display superior verbal and written communication skills. High degree of ability to interface with the customer and internal staff, make independent decisions, and recognize and solve problems with little or no supervision.
• Experience managing vendors and cross functional teams.
• Previous experience instructing in small or medium sized groups, and communicating mechanical, electronic and/or technical operations.
