Under the direction of the Chief Mission Officer/Executive Vice President of Employment & Training, this position provides leadership and strategic direction for design, planning and implementation of accredited and licensed occupational training programs in alignment with the organizations strategy. Design and develop/acquire training curricula, including learning objectives, and outcomes, course outlines and syllabi, and related materials. Responsible for research and analysis of the employment market and trends in order to identify current and future high-demand jobs in the region. Establish employer advisory committee for expertise, knowledge and consultation. Assist in the development of proposals, grant application and contractual opportunities for multiyear program funding. Manages grants and contracts related to training programs and ensures proper compliance. Provides direct supervision of occupational training services staff to achieve desired training outcomes. Responsible for the proper budgeted expenditure of funds, program performance and outcomes. This position actively engages in creating and maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
