The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.
We are seeking a strategic Director, Employee Communications. In this role you will be a key designer and lead the implementation of Prudential's enterprise-wide employee communications strategy that fuels our growth and profitability.
Build a holistic annual and quarterly plan which brings together all significant enterprise internal initiatives; establishes which initiatives should be grouped into broader campaigns; address the implications of individual actions.
Guide storytelling by developing a messaging strategy - with internal partners and SMEs - in support of Prudential's enterprise journey; connect closely with the enterprise reputation team to ensure alignment with our external storytelling.
Take a 360-degree approach to communications by finding opportunities to re-use external content and coverage to inspire a sense of momentum and progress within the organization.
Responsible to construct a prioritized stakeholder engagement strategy. Map and understand the evolving internal stakeholder universe and, understanding the threats and opportunities arising for the enterprise strategic priorities.
Leverage resources and centers of expertise within the Prudential Communications organization – including creative & content, analytics, and research – to quantify and deepen communications impact, improve decision making and drive outcomes.
10+ years of professional communications experience along the ability to share memorable narratives.
Bachelor's Degree
Experience or certification with change management principles.
Excellent leadership and management skills, including analytical, and problem-solving skills, to support sound decision making.
Self-starter with a customer-centric, value creation and operational approach, with a high level of initiative to act.
Ability to work productively in a matrixed environment.
Outstanding strategic plan development, writing, messaging, editing and measurement skills.
Experience working with creative partners on collateral including social media graphics, videos, and event materials.
Must be highly independent to plan, organize, prioritize, and run simultaneous projects and activities and discretion working with sensitive information.
Highly self-motivated, proactive and thrive in a very fast-paced and shifting environment.
Ability to design and compelling plans, from concept to PowerPoint and present them to senior leaders to gain consensus and support for your ideal work.

The salary range for this role is from $148,800.00 to $201,200.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
