Job Description
Primary Function of Position

This position requires an applicant who has been in the position of a proven operations professional who has also been involved with defining and been a part of business systems optimizations space. This involves comprehension what different business systems are available to operations, and how to successfully plan and roll such applications across an organization.

Essential Job Duties

  • Examine business processes, needs, and requests and recommend solutions using system standards and best practices.
  • Conduct study of system specifications and then develop appropriate documentation.
  • Manage and assist in defining complex technical requirements for ongoing systems maintenance and future functionality to meet engineering application requirements and improve system efficiency.
  • Interface with other cross functional business teams to ensure the proper integration of business processes and procedures with information technology and to identify customer solutions.
  • Trains users in the use of forms and complex reports and provides technical assistance in defining authorization roles, custom workflows, and other related areas.
  • Write specification documents for development and other efforts.
  • Develop conversion and system implementation plans.
  • Train users on new modified system configurations as it affects business processes.
  • Be able to manage projects that are not confined to one specific area.
  • Maintains effective and cooperative working relationships with process owners, technical and functional team members, and users.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
  • Be an excellent team player.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
  • 8 years of Business Systems Analysis experience in Medical Device, or similar, company (manufacturing (Batch and Serial), inventory, purchasing, quality, etc.)
  • Experience w/SAP ECC 6.0 or above
  • Operations experience with Logistics and warehouse processes is a must.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Express difficult and complex concepts clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
  • Technical Management and Comprehension,
  • Examining Information
  • Coordination and relationship building.

Required Education and Training
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer Science with 6 - 8 years industry/ IT experience.
  • Demonstrated ability with deployment of productive engineering business applications is a must.
  • SAP experience is highly preferred. In lieu of that will consider other ERP experience.

Working Conditions
  • None specific to physical requirements however, the candidate should be able to walk / stand on the shop floor or warehouse for 1-3 hours, sometime at a stretch to examine processes and discussing with actual users as needed.

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • MS Project / any other project management software to manage / track projects.
  • Sharepoint (optional)
  • Agile
  • Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes

Base Salary Range Region 1: $131,900 USD - $189,700 USD
Base Salary Range Region 2: $112,100 USD - $161,300 USD
