Your Role: Senior Advisor – TS/MS Biotech Network
Position Description:
Focus of the role is to drive and oversee the continuous improvement of technical process compliance, and the remediation agenda of the vaccines network. This role will be centrally responsible for the up-skilling roadmap of the TSMS primary loop scientists within the biotech network. The role will implement governance and monitoring within the vaccines network and will steward root cause investigations in the biotech sites.
Your Responsibilities:
Technical Product Stewardship: Acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Elanco's products, ensuring robust control strategies, leading Product Assessments, and maintaining technical compliance across the network.
Operational Leadership & Risk Management: Leads interdisciplinary Global Post-Launch Operational Teams (G-PLOTs), manages the technical aspects of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program, and supports site investigations with scientific depth.
Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization: Initiates and drives continuous improvement projects for quality, productivity, and cost reduction, partnering with manufacturing sites to optimize processes and deliver Process Flow Documents (PFDs).
Technical Transfer & Launch Support: Oversees the technical transfer of existing processes, supports the installation of new products at manufacturing sites, and provides input for long-term capacity planning.
Expertise Development & Knowledge Sharing: Provides scientific and technical expertise, develops and rolls out systemic technical training programs, and coaches colleagues globally to ensure consistent practices and knowledge exchange.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Education: Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in a life science or engineering discipline (e.g. pharmacy, chemistry, chemical engineering, veterinary medicine).
15 years+ experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing / Technical Services/Manufacturing Sciences or MS&T / Quality Assurance.
Strong working knowledge of applied statistics, quality systems and regulatory requirements across multiple health authorities.
Expert in reviewing and writing technical reports.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
MSc.in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Technology.
Strong Project management skills, strong communication skills, experience in working with interdisciplinary & multicultural teams
