Position Overview:
The Material Handler will pick orders/materials, unload trailers, sort, and label raw materials, put away product to pick locations, move materials to/from production areas, palletize /shrink wrap pallets, scan information using RF, load pallets onto trucks. Use of manual or electric pallet jacks, forklift, order picker, hoist, and/or turret truck will be required depending on area working.


Responsibilities:

Load/Unload trucks
Accurately pick orders for customers or materials for production and complete required paperwork
Lift and move items weighing up to 50lbs-100lbs on a regular basis for up to 12 hours.
Place completed orders into storage racking maintaining accurate placement.
Maintain and keep clean a safe work environment.
Understand the different product/material in respected area.
Assist in the inventory process.
Operate machinery/equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
Accurately use RF equipment for order and material recording.


Qualifications:

Certification will be provided but previous equipment experiences or certification is preferred.
High School diploma or GED preferred. Post-secondary education is a plus.
The ability to read, write and understand English is required.
Food processing or packaging experience is preferred.
Able to pull, twist and lift 50lbs-100lbs.
Understanding of food safety, workplace safety, and food quality standards is strongly preferred.
Self-directed and personally motivated
Strong attention to detail
Basic computer knowledge
Able to work in a fast-paced environment while focusing on meeting or exceeding customer/company expectations.
Good team player able to work/communicate well with others and contribute to a positive work environment.
Good attendance and performance track record.


Hours:
Positions are available 5:45am - 6:00pm and 5:45pm - 6:00am on straight 2-2-3 schedules at our Little Chute, Wisconsin facility. We offer competitive base pay rate and comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.

Physical and Mental Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required in this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Mental demands include multi-tasking, decision making, problem solving, comparing, copying, computing, compiling, analyzing, coordinating, and synthesizing data.
Potential for exposure to chemicals, heights, loud noises, mechanical equipment, wet environments, and other potential hazards exists.
