Job Title: HR Administrator

Job Description:

Provides administrative support to the Human Resources department on all personnel matters and assists employees with daily requests.

Essential Functions and Activities:

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Assists with the recruitment process and new hire orientation.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, and employee events.
  • Provides necessary materials to managers and employees including manuals, employee forms and handbooks, and standardized reports.
  • Protects the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies, governmental laws and regulations.
  • Provides administrative support to the Human Resource team such as entering data on payroll sheets, administering attendance points and entering data into the HRIS system.
  • Performs other related duties and HR projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in Business or Administrative Support.
  • 2+ years' experience in an administrative support role, preferably supporting an HR department
  • Meticulous and well-organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask
  • Able to exercise good judgment by recognizing urgency and setting priorities
  • Professional attitude, demeanor, and appearance, as well as being personal, approachable, and positive
  • Able to work independently with good problem solving and time management skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint)
