STAFF ACCOUNTANT (Finance)

Your Role:
- Complete project setup and monitor project transactions in Oracle.
- Assist Project Managers with contract preparation and change orders as needed.
- Review project budgets to ensure revenue and cost is recorded and reported in accordance to GAAP.
- Prepare monthly billing.
- Assist in the preparation of Subcontractor Agreements and review and code subcontractor invoices.
- Assist with report preparation for internal and external audit reviews.
- Maintain financial and project records in strict compliance with client requirements, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOXA), including Federal project records in accordance with DCAA requirements.
- Maintain and analyze financial reports including Project Estimate at Completion Forms and Project Manager Portfolios.
- Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
- Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
- Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
- Additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience.
- Proficiency with Excel required.
- Ability to work with people at all levels and from varied disciplines.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Knowledge/experience with Oracle Business Suites or related accounting software, specifically on project setup, AP and AR modules, a plus
