What You Will Do
Under the direction of the HR Manager, this position supports the HR Department in all aspects of providing HR services to various organizational programs as needed. The HR Administrative Assistant works as an effective HR team member to ensure Agency compliance and quality service delivery to internal and external customers. Specific responsibilities include: file management, HRIS system maintenance, data entry, report writing, coordination of, delivery of new hire/employee orientation, processing, maintaining and archiving employee related records, maintaining complex systems and calendars, separation processing, recruitment, special projects and related administrative duties. Interacts with all staff in a personable, professional and helpful manner, ensures all employee sensitive information is kept confidential at all times and also ensures work related information is communicated to the HR Manager in a timely fashion.
Shifts Available
Full-Time/Non-Exempt. Schedule M-F/Hybrid
Salary Range
In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is between $22.33 and $36.73 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

What You Bring to The Table (requirements):
Required
A.A. Degree or 1 year or more work experience in a Human Resources role.Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.Ability to travel, approximately 25% of position.Self-motivated and flexible with the ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.Proven ability to maintain excellent customer service skills with internal and external clients/customers at all times.Excellent organizational, analytical and time management skills.Proven ability to work cooperatively and congenially with other employees.Proven ability to work collaboratively and as an effective part of a team.Proven ability to work well under pressure; meet deadlines.Proven ability to multi-task and maintain a superb attention to detail.Proven ability to present a professional demeanor at all times and to work well under pressure.Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.Demonstrated cultural responsiveness in working with diverse individuals and communities.
Preferred:
B.A. Degree
Proven proficiency in working with databases tracking employee information.
Experience using HRIS systems.
Bilingual in a threshold language.
