Software Analyst (Finance)

As a Software Analyst, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Distribution Platforms API Enablement team reporting to Manager API Enablement, you will guide new and existing API consumers, and support projects focused on automation, configuration and strategic priorities.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Guide consumers in using Hilton's API platform in line with governance model, and solve issues and observations reported by internal and external consumers.
  • Review and update content for Developer Portal and other tools / job aids to provide reference information to consumers.
  • Manage Configuration and collaboratively work with ServiceNow team to improve form and workflow.
  • Maintain API Enablement process documents.
  • Troubleshoot and help to resolve API usage issues.

How you will collaborate with others:
  • Partner with requestors, developers, security and others to guide consumers in connecting to and using Hilton's APIs
  • Partner with technical teams to troubleshoot production issues

What deliverables you will take ownership of:
  • API Access Requests and the related sub-ticket used to track the end-to-end connection of multiple teams to Hilton's APIs.
  • Support and service requests, which require independent research to problem solve using different tools (critical analysis).
  • Developer Portal product owner role, and continuous improvement.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • You are a proactive, self-motivated individual with high agency
  • Knowledge of commonly used business concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • This is a hybrid/in-office role and would require you to be near our Memphis office
  • Willing to travel up to 10%

It would be useful if you have:
  • Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
  • Three (3) + years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Experience working with virtual distributed teams
  • Hospitality, Atlassian stack and Postman experience
  • Experience with advanced software analysis, including APIs, build and production support
  • Experience writing basic database queries using SQL or Splunk
  • Experience with REST APIs, including both JSON & XML data formats
  • Working knowledge of managing ticket queues or project progress
