What you will enjoy doing*

  • In this role, you will help manage and execute the day-to-day operations of Linde's Global Giving Program
  • You will assist with monthly batch processes, including reviewing grant submissions and preparing tax acknowledgment letters for mailing, as well as maintain accurate records of tax acknowledgments
  • You will Prepare backup data for tax filings, ensuring funds spent comply with charitable vs. non-charitable standards, update tax acknowledgment spreadsheets regularly, scan, upload, and organize signed tax acknowledgment forms into a master PDF file
  • You will support global grant operations in partnership with United Way Worldwide (UWW) by reviewing monthly UWW reports to ensure timely grant transfers, monitoring reconciliation reports to verify accurate fund allocation, and submitting grant recommendations and provide assistance to business teams
  • Assist with the monthly review and processing of Matching Gift submissions by pulling and categorizing monthly reports and inputting data into the Global Giving Masterfile, comparing submissions against invoices to ensure accurate alignment across systems, and reviewing requests for compliance with the Matching Gifts Program guidelines
  • You will help Identify and troubleshoot system issues, working with external vendors as needed to resolve errors or improve processes, as well as conduct routine reconciliations to ensure submissions are properly aligned with invoices and budgets
  • Assist with maintaining and updating the Grant Making and Matching Gifts program portals, ensuring functionality and ease of use
  • Additionally, you will support community engagement initiatives for the corporate office by partnering with local non-profits to identify opportunities for employee participation, scheduling and coordinating community engagement activities, communicating events and volunteering opportunities to employees at the Danbury office, and participating in community activities

What makes you great

  • You should have excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with grant management systems, such as Blackbaud/YourCause
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in processing and record-keeping
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey information clearly and professionally
  • Customer-focused approach with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working independently while maintaining good judgment on when to escalate issues or seek guidance
  • Experience with financial management, corporate communications, or philanthropic programs is preferred but not required

The salary range for this role is: $70,840-$75,000.
