Contract Administrator (Finance)

Role description:

Arcadis seeks to add a Contract Administrator to our Atlanta, GA transportation team, embedded in a Client Office. Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a Contract Administrator or similar role.

In this role you will support our client by building contract documents to meet federal, state and local requirements for engineering and construction of transportation facilities. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure projects while ensuring efficient and compliant contract operations.

Role accountabilities:

  • Review, draft, and manage contracts, amendments, task orders, and related documents.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, county, and local procurement rules and regulations.
  • Support bid and proposal processes, including preparing solicitation documents.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting systems for contract documentation.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to project managers and leadership regarding contractual issues and risk management.
  • Review and verify Insurance Documents, limits, declarations, and endorsements and coordinate with the County's legal department and contractors.

Qualifications & Experience:

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Contract Administrator, Procurement Specialist, or similar role in transportation, construction, or government contracting.

Key Attributes:
  • Strong understanding of public-sector contracting and procurement requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and negotiation skills with the ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory documents.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with contract management systems preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working with County or State Department of Transportation contracts.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $65000- $92000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
