Gallery Operations Intern - Fall 2025 (Manufacturing)
INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION:
The Gallery Operations Intern will support the Interpretation Operations team at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis by contributing to the planning and execution of exhibit-related educational activities. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity for students interested in museum operations, logistics, and behind-the-scenes exhibit support to gain meaningful experience within a fast-paced and engaging environment. The intern will assist with researching and sourcing props and costumes, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, and enhancing organizational efficiency. In addition, the intern will play a key role in preparing for WinterFaire 2025, helping with the organization and distribution of materials. This role is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the operational side of exhibit interpretation, emphasizing creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration.
