Sales Enablement, Americas RFP Team, Officer (Finance)



Who we are looking for

State Street's Request for Proposal (RFP) team seeks a Proposal Manager to support business development and client service by completing RFPs, RFIs, and due diligence requests. The Proposal Manager will manage questionnaires, edit and write responses, and collaborate with deal leads and content owners to maintain and customize content whilst ensuring deadlines and risk standards are met. Projects include RFPs, Onboarding Questionnaires, and client Due Diligence Questionnaires.

What you will be responsible for

As an Officer, you will:

  • Manage client proposals, due diligence, and consultant questionnaires related to asset servicing products.
  • Customize RFPs to highlight the company's commitment to client service and innovation.
  • Oversee the response process from kick-off to submission, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Maintain consistent product messaging and updated language in responses.
  • Work with deal leads and content owners to create accurate, compelling content.
  • Assist in enhancing and maintaining the RFP response database.
  • Adhere to the formal RFP production, back-up, and review process.
  • Handle follow-up work for RFPs moving to the next phase.
  • Oversee the production of final proposals.
  • Field ad-hoc questions from stakeholders.

  • Membership in APMP, the leading global organization for proposal management professionals.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • College education required.
  • Industry experience preferred. Experience creating technical, strategy-focused RFP responses is a significant plus.
  • Knowledge of financial services markets and products.

Additional requirements
  • Excellent English writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented.
  • Exceptional project and time management skills.
  • Highly collaborative team player.
  • Experience with RFP software (e.g., Responsive, Loopio, Qvidian).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially MS Word.

Salary Range:
$65,000 - $102,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
