Research Assistant, Chemical Engineering and Materials Science (Education)
Job Description
The student will conduct research in computational materials science. Specifically, the student will contribute to materials modeling of high-performance polymeric and composite materials used for aerospace applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Keep up to date with the state-of-the-art in polymer modeling
Develop expertise in setting up, running, and analyzing molecular dynamics simulations
Conduct research to advance the state-of-the-art in polymer physics
Disseminate research by writing journal articles and giving talks at the field's top conferences
Assist with guiding undergraduate students and visiting scholars
Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's degree
