TECH - TOOL ROOM TRAINEE C - 7185 (Healthcare)

This position is responsible for maintaining tools to ensure tool resources are available for production.

Maintain an active inventory and list of company owned items in and loaned out of the Tool Room.

Perform routine preventative maintenance, lubrication and repairs on tools and equipment for functionality, safety and availability.

Perform inspections of tools and equipment for needed maintenance and maintain associated documentation.

Maintain tool calibrations and associated documentation.

Inspect and document fellow employee personal tools for safety and compliance with required trade tool list.

Inspect and maintain records for hazardous waste storage areas.

Procure, disburse and maintain consumables such as safety items, hardware, welding, gaskets, etc.

Manage uniform program.

Inspect and maintain records for eye wash stations and fire extinguishers.

Maintain fabrication and work shop areas.

Maintain compressed gas storage areas.

Transport vehicles to emissions testing stations for registration process.

Other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
