Senior Program Management Advisor - Evernorth - Hybrid (Finance)



**This is a hybrid role which will require the candidate to work in an office. Preferred offices: St. Louis, MO; Philadelphia, PA or Pittsburg, PA.

The Senior Program Management Advisor will be a senior member of the Evernorth Care Solution Clinical Infrastructure Business Team responsible for supporting Care Solutions clinical systems business requirements and operational best practices for all clinical roles. This includes aligning to Portfolio projects and Operational initiatives to lead discussions with Operations to understand operational needs, identify workflow impacts and make recommendations;create business requirements; validate test evidence, lead contingency planning, conduct post release check out and ensure accuracy of training and impacted SOPs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead discussions to provide recommendations, impact analysis and requirements for mid to large size projects/initiatives impacting clinical systems and workflows.
  • Participate in chair side observations and other operational efficiency exercises to provide TruCare expertise and insights into process improvement.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and collaborate with Clinical Operations staff and the Information Technology team to define best practices
  • Identifies and develops relationships with Clinical Operations sponsors, staff and key stakeholders to establish and monitor progress against project goals and objectives.
  • Identify and deliver solutions for custom client requests.
  • Develop, drive and maintains work plans that consider the priorities, key milestones, time estimates, task sequencing and identification of tasks that may be performed concurrently to achieve objectives as it relates to defining/redefining clinical workflows and requirements.
  • Drive the timely development of training, knowledge management and quality materials supporting the system release changes and proficiency modules.
  • Establish project milestones, timelines to meet deliverable requirements
  • Identify and resolve barriers that slow or prevent the successful attainment of process/ productivity improvement and administrative efficiency that will lead to cost reduction and competitive analysis.
  • Develop and conduct system test cases and test evidence to ensure accuracy.
  • Validate and sign off on vendor enhancements that address defects affecting end users and/or customers.
  • Lead system release business checkout, provide post implementation operational support and troubleshoot of issues as needed.
  • As needed, escalates issues to appropriate audiences including key business leaders and team members.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred; MBA, PMI or Six Sigma training also valued
  • 10+ years combined business and technical analysis experience.
  • 10+ years experience in healthcare or insurance industry
  • Demonstrated project management skills and success.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with Evernorth Operations and Care Solutions platforms.
  • Exhibit working understanding of the medical billing, claims systems and member eligibility.
  • Exhibit knowledge and experience in the Scaled Agile SAFe framework
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills.
  • Strong business acumen, with proven ability to leverage knowledge base to quickly come up to speed on technologies, new business areas and new types of projects.
  • Proven ability to create and develop strong relationships with business and IT leadership.
  • Ability to foster collaboration, value others perspectives and gain support and buy-in for organizational proposals.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding and rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent oral, written presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and influence in a matrixed environment is critical.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple obligations and meet aggressive timelines.
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor others.Viewed as a leader and mentor. Sought out for advice and council within and outside of direct team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Detail oriented with excellent research skills.
