Plant Foreman (Maintenance)

We are seeking a Plant Foreman for our ReadyMix Division in Haines City, FL.
Job Duties:
Batch concrete according to specification of tickets and load trucksCoordinate with dispatch for efficient and accurate delivery of concrete Oversee general appearance and security of grounds, buildings, equipment, and machinery. Ensure preventative maintenance is performed on all plant equipment.Review drivers daily vehicle reports and monitor hours for DOT compliance.Order raw materials and operating suppliesMaintain inventories and monitor plant operating costs; prepare daily reports.Participate in the selection, training, evaluation, and progressive discipline of personnel. Conduct safety meetings and plant safety and/or environmental inspectionsConduct daily quality control sampling of products, record results appropriately.Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.Complies with all and ensures compliance of all Safety, Health, Environmental and other Company policies, procedures, and requirements.
Other Duties:
Operate front end loader to feed ready mix plant and move material. Drive ready mix concrete truck to deliver concrete or transport vehicles. Assist in maintenance and upkeep of yard, plant, and office.
Work Environment:
Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperaturesWork near moving machinery and equipment - could include electrical hazardsWork in a noisy environment

Experience & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.3 years' experience working in the production of ready-mix concrete preferred, previous driving of ready-mix trucks or related experience.F.D.O.T. Batch Plant CertifiedValid Class A or B of 2 or more yearsKnowledge of commonly used industry concepts, practices, and procedures preferred.Exercise good judgment regarding work site unloading and operationAbility to perform well as a teamSelf-motivator and must be flexible in order to accommodate needs of your team.Safety minded when performing tasksAbility and willingness to learn and be trained
Working Conditions:
This position requires knowledge and awareness of construction and industrial sites. Protective gear will be required where appropriate. Position requires ability to work at multiple sites and varying start times dependent on business needs. Some overtime and weekend work required.
