Shipping/Loading Distribution (Finance)

Overview

Warehouse , Shipping Loader, Parts puller, is responsible for assisting in fulfilling orders by loading and unloading units and merchandise onto trailers for shipment. The loader works collaboratively with a team to ensure that all loading and unloading processes are safe, smooth and efficient.

Job Responsibilities

• Load units and merchandise onto trailers
• Scan merchandise prior to loading to maintain accountability
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; record location of inventory
• Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders
• Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

Work Environment

• Physical labor - loading, pushing, pulling, standing, lifting
• Must have a high level of agility.
