Principal UX Content Strategist (Finance)



Nemours is seeking a Principal UX Content Strategist in Wilmington, DE

The Principal, UX Content Strategist creates engaging and informative content that enhances the consumer experience for patients, families, researchers and a variety of audiences. This role will help guide and support families through their healthcare journey, making complex information accessible and reassuring. This role acts as a bridge between users, content, and the overall product experience. with emphasis on digital channels such as KidsHealth.org and Nemours.org.

The Principal UX Content Strategist will lead cross-functional teams and collaborate closely with UX designers, strategists, researchers, developers, and product managers to craft content and experiences that clearly align with the strategic direction of Nemours Children's Health.

Essential Functions:

Audience Insights and Strategy

  • Conduct in-depth research to understand audience needs, preferences, and behaviors.
  • Tailor content strategies to communicate to various audiences and segments.
  • Leverage analytics tools to gather insights and refine audience profiles.
  • Analyze user feedback and data to continuously optimize content for better usability and user satisfaction.

Content Planning and Creation
  • Partner with the content strategy team to ensure content is aligned with broader enterprise and marketing goals to meet audience expectations.
  • Establish content themes and pillars to guide consistent and impactful content creation.
  • Develop high-quality, consumer-focused content, including articles, blog posts, emails, FAQs, and other resources that address the needs and concerns of families seeking pediatric care.
  • Create user-friendly copy for websites, mobile apps, dashboards, forms, and other instances, digital and traditional, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accessibility.
  • Create high-quality, evergreen content and assets that remains relevant over time.
  • Create, adapt and repurpose content for various channels, including websites, mobile apps, social media, email campaigns, and print materials, ensuring a consistent and cohesive omni-channel consumer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Utilize Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to author, manage, and publish content and assets efficiently. Ensure that all content is well-structured, optimized for different devices, and adheres to Nemours' content standards and guidelines.
  • Leveraging in-house CMS (Adobe Experience Manager) to author and publish content efficiently, ensuring that all content is well-structured and optimized.
  • Evolve and implement a tagging strategy across various digital touchpoints.

SEO and Discoverability
  • Partner with internal teams on strategy to support keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve search rankings.
  • Support linking strategies to enhance content discoverability and engagement.
  • Refresh and optimize older content and assets to maintain its relevance and performance.

Requirements:
  • Minimum five years of experience as a UX designer, content strategist, or related role is required.
  • Healthcare and/or non-profit experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in UX design, content strategy, communications, or technical writing
