Software Developer (TRDM - Scott AFB) (Finance)
Position Summary :
Segue Technologies seeks a mid-level Software Developer to join our team as part of a project providing Data Management and Web Development support for a customer at Scott AFB (Scott Air Force Base) in O'Fallon, IL. This is a full-time position. Work will be performed both on-site and remotely.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Perform development work for web page and web service requirements and apply agile development methodology experience, including development, testing, and deployment
- Perform tuning of hardware, software, and interfaces with outside systems
- Analyzes problems and information to be processed
- Define problems and develop system requirements and program specifications
- Provide functional data support for the operational community
- Ensure that design and development is aligned with standards
- Troubleshoot and correct production issues
- Collaborate with team members throughout the development process to ensure best practices and design a scalable analytics infrastructure and data transformation/aggregation processes
- Additional tasks as required
Required Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT Systems, Engineering, or another technical field or related major
- 4+ years of software development/programming experience
- 2+ years of rapid/agile web development and support using Java, Eclipse IDE, HTML, JavaScript, cascading style sheet (CSS), and Junit
- Experience with Fortify static code analysis and DISA STIG compliance procedures
- Experience working with of Object-Oriented Design
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Ability to work without direct supervision and in a team environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
