L6 Supply Driver- Blue Shift
Pay: $19.43/HR + $1.50/HR Shift Premium
Required Shift:
- 3rd shift - 7:00pm-7:30am, following a 2x2x3 Shift Pattern
- Flexible to weekends pending business needs
- $1.50/HR shift premium
Job Purpose:
TheSupply Driver will ensure that the appropriate materials are supplied to the assigned production areas and lines, will shrink-wrap any material to be stored / or returned to the warehouse, and will check pallet tickets and loads for accuracy.
What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements
- 1-3 years of forklift operating experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.
- Experience with material handling, loading/unloading, and inventory movement.
- Familiarity with shipping/receiving processes and working around heavy equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.) and frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.).
- Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping
- Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment
- Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to support production needs and to conduct multi-task work in a very fast paced work environment
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Able to handle hot and cold temperature environments
What will be your Key Responsibilities?
- Supply all areas with packaging and other supplies as required.
- Maintain inventory control through proper use of computer terminals and scanners.
- Communicate with various operators and the Production Administrative Coordinator concerning inventories.
- Assure that the sanitation levels for the area are properly maintained.
- Perform relief duties as needed in the area.
- Participate in area Visual Workplace and participate in the OHBA process.
- Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot and cold, dust, dirt and chemicals.
