Completes journal entries and reconciles G/L accounts.
Prepares month end closing including reconciliation of accounts, and the preparation of accruals, adjustments, and financial schedules.
Conducts monthly financial analysis under the direction of the Controller. Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting and reporting financial data. Assists in the preparation of the month end financial package.
Monitors, reconciles and maintains integrity between general ledger module and other modules, such as fixed assets and inventory, within the ERP system.
Overseas fixed asset accounting including creation of new assets and monthly depreciation recognition.
Monitors and facilitates the interface between the ERP system and the payroll system.
Verifies the flow of data through the ERP system by analyzing the raw data.
Assists with preparing and collecting year-end closing work packages for external auditors and tax preparer.
Assists the VP of Finance and the Controller in preparation of the annual budget and profit plan.
Assists with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
May be required to direct or lead other accounting staff. Work includes distributing and overseeing work assignments as well as training staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE -
BS/BA in Accounting or Business Administration and at least 5 years experience as staff accountant or higher. CPA preferred.
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to train and direct employees.
Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
Must have outstanding computer skills including a strong background in Excel and Access.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
