Customer Service Representative (Finance)

Essential Functions

• Handling of incoming phone calls for pricing, lead times, expediting, literature, data sheets, etc.
• Processing of incoming orders and quote requests through our ERP system
• Handle requests and provide support, which can include
• Creation and maintenance of quotations
• Processing and expediting customer orders, verification of confirming orders
• Satisfying customer requests for literature, sales samples and technical information
• Communication to outside sales team for opportunities deserving additional attention
• Creation of purchase orders for drop ships, rush or special orders, entered on vendor websites, when required
• Customer Service Support
• Filing, record keeping and database clean-up/maintenance
• Assist in the resolution of AR/AP discrepancy issues
• Assist with Product Integration Group order entry

Qualifications

• Required Education: High school or equivalent
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to multi-task and familiarity with general office duties
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with Prophet 21 ERP system a plus
• Customer service experience is required with a positive attitude
