Software Engineering Advisors- Hybrid (Finance)
Responsiblities-
• Develop, maintain, and support applications, with strong emphasis on analysis of business requirements and written communication of technical design;
• Provide expert professional leadership on complex Software Engineering assignments and projects, and advise functional leaders;
• Provide comprehensive consultation to business unit and IT management and staff at the highest technical level on all phases of application programming and processes for diverse development platforms, and computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server, software, hardware, technologies and tools, etc.);
• Collaborate with client and IT management and staff to identify application development solutions, new or modified programs, reuse of existing code through the use of program development software alternatives, and/or integration of purchased solutions;
• Provide thought leadership within Application Development while working on broader projects that require understanding of wider business;
• Serve as the principal designer for complex major systems and their subsystems;
• Research and evaluate alternative solutions, as well as recommend the most efficient and cost-effective application programming solutions;
• Code new or modified programs, reuse existing code through the use of program development software alternatives, and/or integrate purchased solutions;
• Document, test, implement and provide on-going support for applications; and
• Support production implementation activities, including performing advanced troubleshooting and debugging of application.
• The salary for this specific position is $161,886.00.

Qualifications-
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computers or engineering;
• 5 years of experience in a related occupation;
• Experience developing, testing, and implementing new software programs;
• Experience facilitating root cause analysis of system issues;
• Experience conducting software and program testing activities (i.e. systems integration regression testing, conducting data modeling);
• Experience maintaining defect reports and status during software test cycles;
• Experience conducting black and white box testing;
• Experience identifying and documenting defects and managed defects; Creating requirement traceability matrix;
• Experience developing and executing SQL queries;
• Experience using: Quality Center, UFT, and Selenium; and
• Experience working with Healthcare applications like claim processing engines.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 109,200 - 182,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
