CTSS Mental Health Practitioner - Maple Grove (Agriculture)
As a Mental Health Practitioner, Clinical Trainee, or Mental Health Professional in Nystrom & Associates Community Based division, youll work in our CTSS (Childrens Therapeutic Support Services) program. Mental Health Practitioners provide community-based rehabilitative services to children/adolescents, and/or their families depending on the interest areas and experiences of applicants.
The purpose of the programs is to help individuals who have a mental illness function independently in their homes or places of residence. Services are provided in four areas: Basic Living and Social Skills, Community Intervention, Medication Education and Transitioning to Community Living. We are looking for a compassionate individual who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the clients we serve.
In this role, youll have the opportunity to:
Provide culturally responsive mental health skills to clients and/or their families (if working with children) in the home, community, and/or school Assist clients in identifying goals for functional improvement and work with them to meet their goals Design and implement treatment/intervention in-home reflective of client needs Receive clinical supervision from a qualified staff, and obtain continuing education units Employees pursuing professional licensure are eligible to participate in Nystrom & Associates Professional Development Track. The Professional Development Track gives early career therapists the opportunity to work as an Outpatient Therapist after 9 months of providing Community-Based services. This track also has a specific focus on continuing education and an emphasis on training and advancement.
