Business Intelligence Developer/Architect (Information Technology)

The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer/Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing BI solutions that enhance data-driven decision-making within asset management. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, dashboard development, and BI architecture, with experience in asset tracking, capital planning, or related fields.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential:

  • BI Architecture & Strategy: Design and implement scalable BI solutions that align with asset management objectives and business needs.
  • Data Modeling & Integration: Develop and maintain data models that support reporting and analytics, integrating data from multiple sources, including asset management systems, financial systems, and operational databases.
  • ETL Development: Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely data processing.
  • Dashboard & Report Development: Build interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar, enabling stakeholders to monitor asset performance, trends, and key metrics.
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure BI solutions are efficient, scalable, and maintainable, optimizing query performance and system responsiveness.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with asset management, finance, operations, and IT teams to understand business needs and translate them into BI solutions.
  • Data Governance & Quality: Implement best practices for data governance, validation, and security, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Automation & Innovation: Leverage AI/ML and advanced analytics where applicable to enhance predictive modeling and asset lifecycle optimization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a BI Developer, Data Engineer, or BI Architect, with a focus on asset management, finance, or operations.
  • Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Azure Synapse, Snowflake, AWS Redshift).
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or Informatica.
  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
  • Understanding of asset management concepts, capital planning, and operational analytics.

Pay Range:

$92,003.00 - $129,954.50 Annual
