Position Summary The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision of several parking facilities. This position delivers company, client and customer expectations by ensuring the facility is operating in accordance with company policy and client expectations. This person is also responsible for supervising the hourly workforce assigned to the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To deliver the company's standards of customer service with each interaction while maintaining an acceptable flow of traffic in and out of the parking facility
Supervises all frontline associates, including cashiers, valet attendants, and custodians on a daily basis
Notify upper management of any situation that needs attention
Thoroughly complete an activity report post each shift
Train new employees which may include on-site visits
Provide the company's standards of service with each customer including maintaining the required uniform appearance, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issues and thanking each customer upon exit
Assist with the day-to-day activities associated with the facility
Responsible at all times for reviewing, understanding and acknowledging in writing when requested, the company provided policies and procedures that directly support completing my required work duties
May be asked by management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the company's maintenance checklists
Ensures that facilities safety and security for guests and employees by reviewing maintenance checklists and conducting periodic safety audits as directed by the company's Safety Manual
Responsible for resolving those customer concerns that are escalated to his/her attention by the facility's front-line associates
Minimum Job Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of two years of operational and leadership experience in the parking or related industry, including revenue control and reporting.
Established experience in Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent oral (including formal presentations) and written communications and comprehension skills are required.
