Your Role as an Infection Preventionist
As the Infection Preventionist, you will take the lead in safeguarding the health of our residents and staff. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring infection prevention and control programs.
- Conducting regular infection surveillance, tracking, and reporting.
- Educating staff, residents, and families on infection prevention best practices.
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to infection control.
- Collaborating with clinical teams to promote a safe and healthy environment.
- Investigating outbreaks and implementing corrective measures when necessary.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of California.
- Experience: Infection prevention/control experience preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills with an attention to detail.
