Assistant Loan Officer (Finance)

Position Overview
The Assistant Loan Officer will perform all aspects of the loan process for their assigned relationship-based book of business. Assessing the financial health of the borrower and calculating potential risk while building solid relationships, both internally and externally, to create successful partnerships.
What you'll do:
Production
- Loan Processing
- Prepare files for underwriting
- Order collateral values, statements and illustrations
- Underwrite and analyze financial data
- Generate and prepare renewal documents and invoices
- Service book of business
- Make updates/re-underwrite renewals as requested
- Identify potential problem loans and take the necessary actions to mitigate risk
- Administrative tasks
- Ensure all loans adhere to regulatory guidelines and internal lending policies
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of internal administrative systems
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, including service level agreements
Relationships
- Build solid relationships to ensure transparent feedback and successful partnerships both internally and externally
- Provide “best in class” service and act as point of contact
- Ensure and own client satisfaction and actively work on solutions and improvements to better business
Additional
- Manage team as needed
- Service complex transactions and find solutions to resolve them in a timely manner
- Deescalate problems quickly as it relates to customer issues
- Train, mentor and support the Loan Analyst I & II
- Support the Loan Officer and Senior Loan Officer as needed
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Must understand workflow systems
- Strong understanding of Policies and Procedures
- Strong organizational and know how to prioritize work
- Posses an advanced understanding of the entire loan renewal process
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proven experience to excel in a high-pressure environment and demonstrate time management
- Provide excellent customer service

Compensation:
The estimated salary for this role is $71,000 - $92,000 along with eligibility to earn a quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay rate may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
