Associate Solutions Engineer (Finance)
Position Description:
Essential Functions:
- Consultant: Serves as an internal and external consultant, using strong communication to champion TransmetriQ products. Educates customers on application use, gathers feedback to improve customer experience, and ensures proper product/feature usage.
- Presenter: Delivers demos and provides implementation details to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Technologist: Designs, builds, and maintains custom data solutions (typically) with Python/SQL.
- Product Expert: Subject matter expert on all TransmetriQ products, with deep industry and customer knowledge or willingness to learn.
- Problem Solver: Applies critical thinking and analytics to solve complex problems, answer prospect questions, and investigate service issues. A self-starter focused on prompt, effective solutions.
Knowledge, Skills, abilities/minimum requirements/competencies:
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Relevant analytical experience including data retrieval, report preparation/generation.
- Exceptional written and customer-facing verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record managing complex relationships/large accounts.
- Experience consulting with customers directly.
Education, experience, certification/training:
- Bachelor's level degree required; business, economics, data analytics, product management, operations research, management science, transportation and logistics or other quantitative and analytical discipline are preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience or advance level degree required.

Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary work: Assignment involves sitting at workstation (desk) most of the time (up to 8 hours) with only occasional walking and/or standing.
- Keyboarding: Primarily using fingers for typing.
- Talking: Expressing or communicating verbally through use of spoken words (accurately conveying detailed or important spoken instructions to others).
- Hearing: Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make discriminations in sound.
- Visual: Through close visual acuity, required to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing computer terminal; extensive reading (with or without correction).
- Environment: Work is performed within an office setting and therefore there is no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions (i.e., extreme heat, cold, noise, etc.).
