Accounts Receivable Specialist *Hybrid (Finance)



The specific pay rate and level will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications, prior experience and location.

“A Day in the Life”

  • As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be involved in multiple aspects of the Accounts Receivable Department. Your duties may includecustomer portal billing processing, billing, cash application, customer account adjustments, reconciliations and other AR based activities. You are a good fit for this position if you are a skilled team player with 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable functions with exceptional customer service, interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail. You should also be comfortable within a fast paced, cross-trained team environment with multiple companies, divisions and systems.

“What You'll Do”

  • Customer Portal Billing Processing
  • Train as primary and/or backup to key transactional areas: cash application, refunds, write-offs, credit memos, credit card activities
  • Ability to do research in multiple systems and analyze for appropriate solutions
  • Additional Ad Hoc training for preparing and process billing – including manual and automated billings and sales tax using internal accounting systems, as well as producing invoices in custom formats in Excel, submitting to online websites etc., and otherwise meeting customer and divisional needs
  • Other duties as assigned

“Must Haves”

  • At least 2 years of progressively complex A/R transactional experience with proven billing, decision making and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Intermediate Excel skills, Strong computer skills, written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment to provide exceptional customer service to all
  • Strong organizational skills, with an ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

"Nice to Haves"

  • Oracle 11 or 12 experience strongly preferred; Cash Management or OLFM module experience a plus
