Business Analyst - Reconciliations (Administrative)

Non-Standard Hours:

Additional hours beyond the standard 8-hour day may be required, in certain situations, to ensure the department is able to complete their reconciliation-related tasks in expected timeframes.

Position Summary

The Business Analyst will work closely with executive team members to process data files and address system issues to ensure reconciliation deliverables are met. Will be involved with analyzing and improving current application(s) and operations of the department and organization, as a whole. The analyst will use their skills to troubleshoot and problem-solve department application(s) and data challenges on an as-needed basis. Analyst will need to effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously. Act as a liaison and point person between IT and Business. Keep groups informed and stay on top of critical issues until resolved. Own department reporting responsibilities as required. This is an individual contributor role.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee processing of data files to support reconciliations. Coordinate efforts with Technology teams to solve data and system issues. Analyze current business and organization processes and make recommendations for efficiency improvement(s).

  • Oversee implementation of department and organization initiatives and process improvements from inception to completion which includes, but not limited to, serving as a collaboration lead with multiple departments outside of Corporate Finance.

  • Own department reporting responsibilities including KRI and various monthly management reporting.

  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve department application(s) and data challenges, as needed. Assist with application maintenance, ongoing training, and ad-hoc projects.

  • Document and communicate new and modified department and organizational procedures.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience required.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Information systems, or Computer Science is preferred - relevant business and/or technology experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree at management's discretion.

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

  • Should possess a technical mindset, computer skills, including knowledge in systems analysis and design and workflow and be equally proficient in both the business and technology areas.

  • Advanced Excel skills. Power BI, SQL a plus.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $50,000-$67,500, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
