Maintenance Mechanic – Miami, FL – Day Shift (Maintenance)

    Here's What You'll Get To Do 

    • Maintain production and quality by ensuring correct operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
    • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors,                                                                   pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines.
    • Troubleshoot equipment to assess the proper and necessary repairs.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    What We're Looking For

    • Must be at least 18 years old.
    • 3 years minimum experience in production floor environment. 
    • PLC programming & troubleshooting skills required.

    • Welding experience required.

    • Strong on Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's) Knowledge of control circuit wiring 24VDC is a plus.

    • Ability to read drawings, European schematics is a plus computer input and interface skills.

    • Good working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment/systems.

    • Ability to fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

    • The ability to safely perform tasks, adhere to all safety policies and procedures, and correct or report hazards in the workplace.

    • Available to work Saturdays when needed.

      Physical Requirements 

      • Ability to lift, bend, twist, carry, walk, and reach frequently.
      • Capable of lifting 75 lbs.
      • Ability to stand and walk on a concrete floor, wearing steel-toed shoes with metatarsal guards and other safety equipment for ten hours or more per day.
      • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment without temperature or humidity control.
