Manager, Technical Services (Sales)

SUMMARY
The Technical services manager is responsible for understanding customer requirements and then applying technical knowledge along with analytical skills to provide advice and support on a range of products with technical specifications and expertise. This person leads RFPs through the analysis of supplied data, being able to determine proper paths forward and organize field deployment of resources. This person will work with the operations and sales groups to identify opportunities for employee enrichment and current program optimization and creation.
JOB DUTIES:
Attend industry trade showsAssist business development team with sales calls and technical solutionsIdentify opportunities for case studiesWorks in field when necessary (e.g., collecting samples, gathering data)Contact prospective customers, arrange meetings and present findingsPossess technical writing capability and able to prepare RFPs and customer presentationsUses knowledge of chemical application in the oil & gas industry to understand customer requirementsIncorporates technical knowledge into survey processDemonstrate the effectiveness of chemical products and provide technical solutions to customer issuesOther duties may be assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE:
Associates Degree2 or more years in Technical Role2 or more years in oil & gas chemicals
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelors Degree4+ years in oil & gas chemicals
